EverQuest Underfoot expansion pack release date is November 24, 2009

Sony Online Entertainment has announced EverQuest: Underfoot as the 16th expansion pack for the legendary and long-running Everquest series. It will be released on November 24, 2009.

In anticipation of the launch, there will be several in-game events leading up to it. The first of three of these “Road to Underfoot” events is already underway (started on August 12th). It is called “Giants. Giants. Giants.”

The event will offer you new adventures as players gather friends and slay some of Norrath’s most fearsome giant creatures. Encounter the greatest “big” foes of Norrath, from the Ancient Cyclops to the powerful Lord Brekt. Seek out Tzudani, Emissary of Veeshan, in the Plane of Knowledge to heed the call. Gain valuable rewards: the farther you get through the Giants event, the better your reward!

Additionally, those who pre-order Underfoot and participate in all three “Road to Underfoot” events before November 10th, 2009 will receive early access to the expansion.

The other two Road to Underfoot events are slated for September and October to give adventurers a taste for what’s to come in the next expansion.
