Darksiders 2 already on THQ’s mind
A sequel to Darksiders is already on the mind of publisher THQ and developer Vigil Games.
During an E3 2009 Stage Demo with GameSpot, creative director Joe Madureira discusses the first game at length and at one point is asked about a possible Darksiders 2 and what a sequel to the Revelation-based Apocalyptic action adventure would entail.
To quote:
“There are a lot of possibilities for the sequel and we definitely hope it resonates with gamers and people love the first one. We’d love the chance to do a sequel, we definitely see it as an IP with legs franchise. There’s other characters we went to introduce and other creatures we want to work out. So you know we’ll see how it goes.”
