Next week Tuesday’s Xbox Live Dashboard Summer update brings along with it downloadable Xbox 360 games AKA Games on Demand. Launching on August 11th with a library of 21 games. Each game will be priced between 1600-2400 Microsoft Points (that’s $20-30).

Games on Demand marks the introduction of digitally distributed full Xbox 360 games: the titles you want, when you want them, straight to your Xbox 360 harddrive at the push of a button. You’ll also have the option to easily purchase Games on Demand titles directly via credit card.

From award-winning hits like “Mass Effect,” “and “Assassin’s Creed,” to family favourites like “LEGO Star Wars: The Complete Saga” and “Viva Pinata,” Games on Demand gives you access to a growing catalogue of full Xbox 360 titles, updated weekly and available to browse and download 24/7 from the comfort of your couch. — Don’t forget that some of these older games are cheaper with in-store discounts or on eBay.com. I’d know, I bought a brand new Kameo for $10 two years ago.

Check out the line-up at launch:
1. Assassin’s Creed (Ubisoft)
2. Burnout Paradise (EA)
3. Call of Duty 2 (Activision)

Not impressed at all. Sorry. I have both ps3 and 360 and I’m tired of gray video games ” gears” point is xbox live tries to make up for weak hardware xbox 360! I suggest they make a new system equal or better than the ps3. I would rather play infamous kill zone 2, and even ps3 version of fight night round 4 the controls are a whole lot more accurate. .I wish game makers would concentrate more on the ps3. Psn needs to be more like xbox live. my ps3 is my favorite system I guess I’m a sucker for power and graphics
