A 4th ToeJam and Earl game is a possibility according to a new interview with Majesco’s Assistant Product Manager Pete Rosky.

When asked what classic game series he would personality like to see get a reboot, ToeJam and Earl was the first game name to leave his lips.

Question: If you could pick any classic game series to reboot with a similar art style, which one would you choose?

Pete Rosky: I would love to see ToeJam & Earl come back, actually. I think that’s my answer. I mean, it was pretty funky as it was, but just imagine that now. You know, some new music — some licensed stuff.

The ToeJam and Earl series was extremely popular in the 8-bit days as a highly unique, funky, adventure game/RPG/Rogue-like. The original ToeJam and Earl was re-released for Wii Virtual Console in 2006 and ToeJam and Earl II in Panic on Funkatron was released for Virtual Console in 2007. The last game in the series was the poorly recieved ToeJam & Earl: Mission to Earth for the Xbox 1, released in 2002.
