What are the best-selling games in America, Japan, and Europe (UK, France, Germany) this week? Thanks to Amazon online sales data here are the games that are the hottest right now. Think of it as a games weather report.

We start with regional top 5′s per system, and end with the worldwide combined top 10′s.

To recap the top 5′s: Wii Sports Resort debuts on first place on the Wii chart. Halo 3 returns to the Xbox 360 chart. Killzone 2 returns to the PS3 chart. Final Fantasy X levels up to the top of the PS2 chart. The Sims 3 stays high on the PC chart. Mario Kart DS finishes first on the DS chart. And lastly, God of War: Chains of Olympus remains #1 on the PSP chart.

However, the BIGGEST SELLER of the week WORLDWIDE is Monster Hunter 3′s release in Japan with 1 MILLION Wii discs shipped on launch day today. Expect it to be the top listing in Japan for a long time, together with Dragon Quest IX on DS.
