Naruto Shippuden Ultimate Ninja 5 releasing this November 2009 for PS2
Namco has announced Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja 5 as the fifth installment in the best-selling series for the PlayStation 2. It will be released in November 2009 in Europe. No American or Australian release date has been announced.

The second title based on the NARUTO SHIPPUDEN anime, NARUTO Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja 5 takes the player on a heart-pounding adventure from the point of Naruto’s return to Konoha to end of the second Sasuke Rescue Arc. Our hero will find himself once again taking on an ever more devious and powerful succession of enemies, relying on his faithful friends and incredible ninja skills to win the day.

Players who follow the story in Master mode will find the familiar gameplay has been greatly enhanced with new fighting styles for Naruto, brand new 3-man cell gameplay making full use of special abilities, and the ability to boost character stats for the first time as well as add equipment and upgrade Jutsus.

During battle players will also be able to select a partner character to join them in battle, which will increase your chance of victory. Selecting the right partner will give players the chance for special team-based Jutsus and Ougis adding more tactical decisions to the gameplay. You can also play as other characters to see the world from their eyes!

With a versus mode containing over 60 playable characters and 24 battle stages, NARUTO Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja 5 boasts the largest content of all the games in the series so far. Players will be able to select from amongst their favourite characters and do battle either against the AI or take on a friend in punishing one-on-one ninja combat. Players will also have a lot to find and unlock with countless collectibles and an in-game shop.

The game is being developed by CyberConnect 2 and will features both Japanese audio as well as localization in five other languages.

BDV: i also heard UN6 was only for psp but im not sure i believe that yet. it sure would suck though cause i dont even have a psp i think revolution 3 comes out nov 17 or 18 cause i pre ordered the limited edition at gamestop and he said 18. i also think sasuke is in it. i mean what kind of naruto game doesnt have sasuke in it?

I saw on the website that it was coming out for the psp. it says it will have less characters but it will have tobi(madara uchiha),(these next two people are not from an official source)zetsu, konan, and pain(nagato). tobi and pain will defintely be in it which is awesome. i think they are making it naruto shippuden characters only so no original naruto characters will be in it. Team Snake might be in it too. It sucks cause i dont have a psp. ill have to get one. and i didn’t know saskue is in was in revoulution 3 i thought it was only the rescue garra arc thats kewl! where did you get that info?

in a review it said that they arent locking the cast down to the rescue gaara arc and that the STORY MODE goes from episodes 1-32 of the shippuden series which is the episode sai is introduced. i have also read it on blogs, and i just personally think he is in it. i want to get UN6 but idk if im gonna get a psp for 1 game

Well, revolution 3 does come out on the 18th. There is also Naruto Shippuden Legends Akatsuki Rising on PSP, so that might be good too.

I was thinkin about getting a psp but I didnt want it for one game but I heard Ultimate ninja heroes 2 for psp is also sort of cool but old.If so I would get UN6 and the akatsuki game and Probanly ultimate ninja heroes 2.
