Uncharted 2 release date is October 13, 2009
Uncharted 2: Among Thieves has gotten a release date of October 13, 2009 according to Sony Computer Entertainment America.
They also revealed the very fitting box art that you see above, which depicts hero Nathan Drake hanging precariously from a high ledge with what looks to be a waterfall in the background.
You will also have a wide number of ways to pre-order the game with a slew of different goodies depending on where you reserve it.
Which will make some players sad because that means you won’t be able to get everything (unless you reserve multiple copies, which isn’t recommended in this economy).
Here are the in-game pre-order bonuses:
* Pre-Order at Best Buy to get exclusive Golden Guns for use in multiplayer
* Pre-Order at Amazon to get a Treasure Map item that allows players to see the locations of hidden treasure throughout the game.
* Pre-Order at Game Crazy to get a currency multiplayer item that allows you to gain currency in multiplayer games much more quickly.
*Pre-Order at GameStop to get early access to the Uncharted 2 multiplayer demo and access to the Revenge Booster. Everyone else will have to wait until September 30th to play the demo, but people who reserve at GameStop will have access to it on September 9th.
