Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2 release date is September 15. Stan Lee joins cast!

Characters from Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2. Hulk smash!
Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2 has gotten a release date of September 15, 2009 for Xbox 360, PS3, Wii, PS2, PSP and DS. And Stan Lee will join the cast in his first videogame appearance announced publisher Activision!

Hopefully this will start a new trend for Marvel videogames just like Stan Lee has had with the Marvel films, where he has made a brief appearance in nearly every one. Stan Lee is the creator of some of the most popular characters in the Marvel universe including Spider-Man, X-Men, The Incredible Hulk, Thor, Iron Man and more.

Activision did not mention which specific role Lee will fill in the game, saying only that his voice and likeness would be used for “a character whose role is significant to the game’s storyline.” Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2 in part follows the highly acclaimed Marvel Civil War comics storyline, in which a dispute erupts within the mutant community over the Superhuman Registration Act and battle lines are drawn between those who are for it and those who oppose it.

The superhero action RPG Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2 features a broad range of playable characters as you can see in our official Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2 characters list. It will include both superheroes and villains such as the Hulk, Wolverine, Venom, The Human Torch, Thor, Spider-Man, Deadpool, Iron Man, and the Green Goblin. The game also incorporates elements of the well-regarded original Marvel Ultimate Alliance, with players able to choose how they level up their mutants as they gain experience points and progress through the game.
