Ghostbusters 4 aka Ghostbusters: The Video Game 2 wanted by developer Terminal Reality
Ghostbusters 2: The Video Game, aka Ghostbusters 4, is wanted by the developer of what we call Ghostbusters 3 (aka, the first video game, since a 3rd movie will likely never happen anyway, so it is essentially Ghostbusters 3) according to a new interview with Terminal Reality.

The first game, Ghostbusters: The Video Game, has sold over a million copies and the developer would love to have a new videogame release to correspond with the upcoming 3rd movie if that movie ever happens.

But hopefully they’ll consider doing another videogame regardless.

To quote from an interview with GameSpot,

“It took us years to build the physics into the game of how one of those proton beams might hit a wooden table and just cut it in half, with one-half actually falling away from the other–and then one of the characters could actually interact with the destroyed object. It is great to realize that if they are thinking of rebooting Ghostbusters, of handing off the torch from the old guard to the new for a new Ghostbusters, that the success of the game definitely had something to do with green-lighting that project. And you can bet that if that movie were to come out, we’d just love to do another Ghostbusters game based on it.” – Terminal Reality cofounder and president Mark Randel

Great idea. But if it happens, make all 4 Ghostbusters wear the flight uniforms(the black ones) from Ghostbusters 2 besides the rookie. And make the rookie speak once in a while.

I would love a new Ghost Buster 2 game . Love playing the first one and love the ideas of new jumpsuits and the rookie speaking . But would love for it to come out way before a new Ghost Busters Movie would be decided and would love the game to be much longer than the firts …with more missions , more haunted places and you could drive the Ecto 1 car every once and a while . And you Could choose which famous Ghost Buster you could play as …Like “Winston”.

i love it ghostbusters the video game was so cool i bought 4 for each of my xbox360 one for me my sister and parents they love that game they passed it on proffesinal please please make another one we cant wait any more.:):):):):):):):):):D

I agree, there should be a new game, but now you should be able to run your own franchise, hire workers, and be able to explore more. But I still think that Ray, Peter, Winston, and Egon should be in it.

Love the first game, not happy about the spin-off game that’s due soon and wont be getting it.

Another game with the full cast again would be great!
