First Pokemon Mystery Dungeon trailer for the 3 WiiWare games

Pokemon Mystery Dungeon WiiWare artwork
Nintendo have released the first trailer for their three upcoming Pokemon Mystery Dungeon games for WiiWare. The games will be released in Japan on August 4th. They’ve yet to get a release date outside of the Land of the Rising Sun though.

In the games players will be able to share data from one game to the other, making it easier for them to level up a persistent team from title to tile.

The name’s of the games in Japan are:

1. Advance! Fire Adventure Team
2. Go! Storm Adventure Team
3. Light Adventure Team!

And as you can tell based on the names and the flyers above, they will each star a different type of Pokemon: Water, Fire and Electric. They will also each start out with different, corresponding Pokemon.

One of the interesting twists in the gameplay is how Pokemon can combo their moves and attacks together to defeat enemies. And like the previous games in the series the WiiWare versions will feature a “rescue” option wherein you can invite a friend to join your quest and save you, but this time you can do it online over Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection!

Here is the official trailer for the games.

  3. Did you get My Pokemon Ranch and Pokemon Snap in Australia? If so, then it’s very likely this WiiWare game will be out everywhere worldwide too.
