Alan Wake now Xbox 360 exclusive. PC version up to Microsoft
Alan Wake PC may be no more according to Remedy themselves who were contacted by Alan Wake fansite Brightfalls.
Remedy has said that they are not only “focusing” on the Xbox 360 version but that the PC release of the game is not ultimately up to them but to their publisher, i.e. Microsoft. Although they insist that PC plans are still “open” and that they would love to release it for the PC, saying:
“Remedy has a deep heritage in PC gaming and would love to see a PC version available to its PC followers.”
It is guaranteed though that a simultaneous launch with both a PC and Xbox 360 version “will not happen at this late stage.”
