Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 features one main character in Ryu Hayabusa who is joined by three playable characters who join the fight, some for the first time. These gal friends include Dead or Alive ninja Ayane, Momiji from Ninja Gaiden: Dragon Sword for DS and Ninja Gaiden Sigma 1‘s main female Rachel.

Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 is an updated version of the Xbox 360′s Ninja Gaiden 2 for the PS3. It will release on October 1st, 2009. In addition to the three female characters that are now playable, the game features new enemies, new bosses, an online co-op mode and Trophy support. Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 also contains less gore than its Xbox 360 counterpart.

Here is a list of all the characters, both heroes and villains, in Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2.

Xino: If old images were used instead of new ones, it’s only because Tecmo haven’t shown these characters in Sigma 2 yet.
