Star Wars: The Old Republic MMO will involve George Lucas

Star Wars: The Old Republic, the hugely ambitious Star Wars Massively Multiplayer Online game based on the “Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic” universe will apparently have direct involvement from creator George Lucas, according to BioWare co-founder Ray Muzkya.

Although George Lucas oversees what is happening in The Old Republic and approves it, it doesn’t sound like his involvement runs very deep. Which will certainly make certain fans happy (maybe most).

To quote Ray:

“I haven’t shown it to him [Lucas] personally, no,” said Muzyuka. “But I know he keeps his finger on the pulse of everything that LucasArts is working on, so I know he’s involved in it. I’ve talked to him about the project in the past and I know he’s excited about it.“He’s very involved in the development side of things.”
