First screenshot of Xbox Live Avatar unlockable awards

Above you can see what looks to be the first screenshot of some of the new Avatar features that will be upgraded for the “New Xbox Experience” Avatar system soon, as was announced at E3 2009 by Microsoft.

One of the biggest of the features that they announced at the show would be the ability to unlock new outfits, clothing, shoes, hats, accessories, etc. for your Avatar by simply playing games. Similar to earning an Achievement (or perhaps embedded with an Achievement), you would unlock this stuff by simply playing through your favorite games and getting them as an award.

Hopefully Microsoft will look at LittleBigPlanet as the way to go for unlocking really cool costumes. I want to see Gears of War-styled Avatars!

You know I agree with the Gears of War armorset, everyone else is probably thinking SPARTAN ARMOR. But truthfully there is no armor more badass looking than the Gears armor.
