Bethesda is celebrating the 15th anniversary of their phenomenally successful Elder Scrolls series by offering the second game in the classic PC western RPG franchise for free on their web-site, for anyone to download and enjoy.
Although you will need to also download the Bethesda recommended emulator DosBox in order for you to get the game to work on your PC. More information on the official Bethesda web-site.
The Elder Scrolls 2: Daggerfall is a first-person Western role playing game with a very open structure and one of the largest game worlds ever created (though it’s randomly generated and devoid of detail in most regards). Players can complete many different quests in any order they choose, developering their character in many different ways and taking any number of paths through the game.
