Batman: Arkham Asylum box cover artwork. For PS3, Xbox 360 and PC. Release date is August 25th, 2009
The complete Batman: Arkham Asylum characters list includes 26 heroes and villains. The game largely focuses on Batman’s extensive rogue’s gallery with only five characters on the “heroes” side (Batman, Gordon, Alfred, Blue Beetle & Oracle).

The stealth action adventure videogame will be released for Xbox 360, PS3 and PC on August 25th, 2009 in both standard and Batman: Arkham Asylum Special Collector’s Edition varieties. The PS3 version of Batman: Arkham Asylum features Joker as an exclusive playable character as well, purchaseable from the PlayStation Store as a download.

Additionally the game features many of the same voice actors who have voiced the characters in the past (such as in the 90′s Batman: Animated Series). I’ll include the voice actor next to the name of the character where available.

When you click on each Batman: Arkham Asylum character name’s below, where available, a window will pop up with their picture.

Here is the list of Batman: Arkham Asylum characters that will appear in the game:

1. Alfred Pennyworth (voiced by Efrem Zimbalist Jr.)

Tim: This is a real list. Why would you think it’s fake anyway, a bunch of the linked images are in-game, there’s no way to fake that. We got this info from Warner Bros. and we don’t lie to our readers. Sheesh, some people… what a nerve to say such nasty things.

    what up

  • kadashi666

um…..I’m gonna call bull-sh!t on this list, mainly because a lot of the characters on this list wouldn’t make much sense being in arkham asylum, even if they where pulled over from black-gate prison like a lot of interviews have said. not that i think all these characters wont be in it, but i have a hard time beleving that certiant characters (say ra’s-al-ghul and hush) will be in the game. if they are, than great, huzza, I’m psyched! but still, id like to see a little more hard evidence than just a written list.

kadashi666: Again, this list is real. Ra’s al Ghul and Hush appear as bosses or cameos, according to Xbox World 360 magazine.

ferry: really? mmm…okies, what issues was that in? and if its the truth, then huzza!

  • http://www.videogamesblogger.com Ferry

kadashi666: Yep! It was in the May 2009 issue.

This list is wrong. The joker is not even in the game. He’s not even in any videos.

Andrew: Haha, are you joking? The Joker is the main villain in this game. In the PS3 version of the game you can even play as him in Challenge Maps, as he’s a free downloadable character there.
