Lucasarts might do more adventure remakes if Monkey Island sells

If you are a fan of Lucasarts’ classic adventure games, then make sure you do the right thing and buy The Secret of Monkey Island Special Edition when it releases on Xbox Live Arcade and PC later this year.

Because depending on how the game sells, that will determine whether or not Lucasarts decides to give the green light on remaking some of their other classic adventure games. Such as Full Throttle and Day of the Tentacle.

Because Lucasarts and the guys who work there would really like to remake those games. They just need to know that they will be successful from a business/sales perspective.

Oh and you might want to pick up Indiana Jones and the Staff of Kings as well, because it contains a re-release of Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis as an unlockable bonus.
