Sadly for those frequent Super Smash Bros. Brawl players out there, Nintendo has announced that the Wii fighter’s servers that allow you to upload user-generated photos, stages and replay data will end on June 30th, 2009.
These features, along with the online play in the game, were some of the game’s most touted features, so its sad to see them go. It’s also curious as Nintendo did not give an explanation as to why. Saying only:
“As of June 30th, 2009, the current service that accepts user-generated snapshots, stage designs, and replay data will no longer be available. Please note, however, that we will continue to distribute such data [that’s already submitted] after that date.”
