Ghostbusters 3 game preview
One of the hottest games releasing this week is Ghostbusters: The Video Game. This highly anticipated and long awaited title (it’s been in development by Terminal Reality since 2007) is essentially Ghostbusters 3.
The game is being released on nearly all systems with various differences between versions. The Wii and PS2 versions focus on puzzle elements more than action and feature offline co-op, as well as a cartoony, exaggerated style. While the other versions feature online multiplayer modes separate from the main game. The PC version features no multiplayer and resembles the realistic Terminal Reality developed version for Xbox 360, PS3 and PC. The DS version is completely different from the others yet similar to the classic Activision PC Ghostbusters game. It features touch-screen controls, driving sequences and resource management from an isometric perspective.
The console games are essentially an action shooter described by the developers as “Gears of War-lite”. They were written by the creators of the films as well with almost the entire cast intact.
