Fret Nice, the guitar-controlled indie platformer, coming to XBLA and PSN via Tecmo
Tecmo has picked up Fret Nice, an Indie platforming controlled by using a guitar controller, for release on Xbox Live Arcade and PlayStation Network.
The game features a crazy cut-out artstyle where you need to play riffs on the guitar in order to defeat enemies. To add depth, you are sometimes required to play specific riffs depending on the attributes of an enemy.
The game will support two-player local as well as online play. When playing with a friend a guitar cord will attach your character to his so that one player can’t wander too far off from the other. The game will also feature upgraded visuals.
