Darksiders release date is January 5, 2010. Watch a 30-minute gameplay demo

Pre-order Darksiders for PS3THQ reps at E3 2009 announced in a webcast that the apocalypse begins January 5th, 2010. As that’s when Darksiders will be released on the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.

I’m very interested in this, to me Darksiders: Wrath of War looks like an apocalyptic Legend of Zelda game! The action-adventure game casts players as War, the first of the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse. When a war breaks out between heaven and hell, War is (understandably) accused of sparking the conflict, and soon finds himself fighting both sides in his attempt to clear his “good” name and get revenge on those responsible.

The four horsemen of the apocalypse storm the GameSpot E3 booth for an half an hour long stage demo.

  1. 1st January 2010 is’nt very far away, of coarse being it’s a ps3 game, it’ll probally end up being cancelled, my advice to THQ is not if but WHEN it’s cancelled is to start devoleping a 360 port, as the 360 is not impossible to program for (unlike the ps3) and a port WILL acuatlly end up being releaced. mcjakeqcool
