Secret of Monkey Island: Special Edition coming to PC and Xbox Live Arcade
LucasArts is creating a completely re-worked and upgraded version of the classic PC adventure game The Secret of Monkey Island.
The new version is called The Secret of Monkey Island: Special Edition and will be hitting Xbox Live Arcade and PC, in Summer 2009.
The game has remained completely faithful to the original while being upgraded graphically and audibly for the current generation. With graphics that were re-done in the same style as the original. The game not only contains updated HD graphics, but the audio has also been completely re-recorded and remastered. New dialog was even recorded with the original cast of voice actors.
One of the coolest features of the new game though is the fact that you can switch seamessly from the updated graphics to the old game, from the new, with the press of a button.
