		<description>@Matthew: While you are right, and I used to play some games like that on a friend&#039;s PC. I think it&#039;s implied that he meant first stereoscopic 3D game for multiple consoles. Before Avatar only that Disney talking hamster game did it on PS3.</description>

		<description>It is interesting to note that this actually is NOT the first stereoscopic 3D game.  In fact, there are free drivers available for download that allow you to play most ORDINARY PC games in stereoscopic 3D with LCD shutter glasses, polarized glasses, or colored glasses.

The way that is possible is, with modern 3D games and even many older ones, the rendering is NOT done by the game itself -- it&#039;s done by low-level DirectX or OpenGL drivers.  By adding a replacement or overlay driver, these &quot;stereo drivers&quot; allow you to play most ordinary video games in stereoscopic 3D -- even though those games were never intended to be played in stereoscopic 3D.

Since the games of course don&#039;t contain the necessary parameters for stereoscopic 3D -- separation and convergence -- these drivers have hotkeys that allow you to manually set those settings.</description>
