  • How to stop the aging of your Sims:

In the game’s main options menu, go into “Game Options”, then look under “Options” for the option to toggle aging on or off. No cheat codes needed, easy does it!

    How to make easy money:

To become rich very fast by writing books, you have to take these steps.
    1. Start writing novels on your computer. Write fiction novels since they take the least amount of time. But at first they won’t bring in much money.
    2. When you write your skill will automatically advance. If your skill is high enough you will be able to write more novel types/genres.
    3. The most money can be made from “Romance Novels”. You get royalties for 6 weeks once you finish a book.
    4. With the writing skill maxed out, you can make around 40.000 every week, which is more than 34.800 you get by purchasing all neighborhood businesses and takes less time to achieve.
    5. In three game weeks you should have super high-speed writing, 9/10 novels as best-sellers and 100.000.

    How to make friends easily:

To become friends with the whole neighborhood, you have to take these steps.
    1. Buy a guitar, then play it to learn how to play guitar. The higher your guitar skill is, the faster other Sims become your friends.
    2. Keep playing until you reach level 5/10, which gives you the ability to “play for tips”.
    3. When you have the ability, go to the park with the guitar in your inventory.
    4. When you are in the park, click on the guitar in your inventory and select “play for tips”.

    How to prevent death:

    1. Go to Pleasant Rest Graveyard, and near the gate, there is a strange bush called a “Death Flower Bush” – Harvest the flower from it.
    2. Keep this flower in your sim’s inventory, and if you die, you will automatically offer this flower to the Grim Reaper, who will ressurect you in exchange for it.
Note: This flower will not reappear, but there are Unknown Special Seeds (requires level 7 Gardening to plant) dotted about near the graveyard (and a few other places) which may grow another Death Flower(and sometimes more Death Flowers if your Sim has the Green Thumb trait to revive the plant.

Funny video about new ways to kill off your Sims once you get bored! :-D

i LOVE Travis’ ideas i would definatly buy the games. i love the idea of farms and cars from ordinary to batmobile. great ideas!!

i love travis’s idea! id buy those expansion packs! and yes i was very disappointed with the sims 3 also! the graphics arent great, they dont have hardly any clothes, u cant really speed up time! 4 speed doesnt do crap! if u pause the game it takes forever to start back up, and they just stand there for like 5 min when u tell them do do something…i must say i like the personalities n the way u can talk to ppl n go to work, but overall, VERY disappointed with this game!

oh, and the cheats suck major time! testingcheatsenabled only gives u a few plus’s. like keeping their motives up, and building relationships in sec. but what happened with the tombstone of l&d, the little baby doll cheat thing, and just dragging the skills up! i mean come on ppl! overall this game kinda sucks when compared to the sims 2 performance and cheat wise! im thinking of uninstalling it and going back to the sims 2! atleast the day doesnt last FOREVER, and u can speed up time easily and have a billion cheat options!

i think id you really want a good expansion they should be something like:

The sims 3 Holidays: where you can go anywhere and every where even get your sim on an air plane

The sims 3 cars: where you can desgin your own car and drive it.

the sims 3 buissness: WHERE you would complete diesgin your own buissness anything from being a banker, to being a super star or spie, in this one you could take your sims all over the world for thier exotic jobs.

The sims 3 pets aglore: make any pet, whether it be completely exotic like a tiger or something to a tiny puppy etc this means that you could move your sims fromt hier sims world to another place such as india and be a zoo owner with tigers that you could feed and such.

The sims 3 zoo: become a zoo trianer, owner or tamer and put on shows for all other sims, take it to the streets in a parade with the wild animals and make money on the way.

in the sims onlne shop you should be able to completely design your sims, from cutting thier, making them very fat to very ripped and including tattoos

    hope this helps

sims 3 was a big dissapointment I actually sold it on Ebay for twice the price i got it for (25$) and started playing sims 2 I mean like seriously my sim stood there in the same place for an entire 2 hours and 37 minutes thats ridiculous and my sims faces are sooo sharp edged and i coldnt smooth them out because that would make the game even slower bottom line:I ABSOLOUTLY HATE SIMS 3

I’m pissed :( I’ve been waiting months for this game, allll the hype about it was just amazing and I just got it for christmas and its not working at all! It took 2 hours to download then it takes 3 minutes each time I click on something new! I’m so sad! After 3 hours of loading the game making one sim and picking a house I decided not to be a brat and just play. My sims sat there for 30 mins before the walked 2 steps away. I’m very disappointed, sims2 works perfectly fine on my computer. Merry christmas to me I guess

I know how to fix the social worker problem. When the social worker take away your child, let her do it. After that, you go to edit town, click on your house, it still have your child in there. Choose one household that you haven’t play at the bottom of the screen, grab it and move to your house ,Merge them together. Click on your house once again. This time, choose split up household. Choose the family that you merged and your child. After split them up, choose a house for them to live. Back to game, send your sims to come to that house, meet your child. Now use cheat testingcheatsenabled true , Shift+click on your child and choose add to active household. Your child is back.
I don’t know if this work for everyone but it worked with mine. But all your inventory will lose.

I, too, find the Sims 3 to be quite a disappointment. I have been giving it the ol’ college try and it just isn’t getting better. Every single time I play, I think to myself I just just ininstall it and revert to the Sims 2 game I loved so much. Not only does it go backwards in terms of overall graphics, sadly, but in quality of play.

Since it’s a new game, I hate that I’ve lost all of the expansion packs that I had in the Sims 2. I’ve lost all the things I could once do or wear or own…like my dear pets, awesome outfits, running businesses, living in different neighborhoods. Now I’m in generic (and generally ugly) clothing that I’m supposed to be excited about only being able to change color on. My characters are oddly bloated and I can’t really tell what anyone looks like, which is weird. The only nice thing is being able to expand into neighborhood view, the sound effects when I go to public buildlings, and going to the hospital to have babies (babies that take FOREVER to have). That’s IT.

Concerning the babies (other than the tortuous pregnancy time), my biggest thing is I like to see genetics and I even think the Sims 3 is missing that. My characters babies are popping out with random hair and eye colors that are from nowhere in the family tree. At least in the Sims 2, genetics were in there. I don’t know what’s up with the new stuff. That infinite color wheel messed it up, I guess.

Now, one of the things I hate the most are that I cannot take pictures in the same way I did in the Sims 2 and put them into a photo album right in the game and write in it. I loved making up stories right then and there. I also miss feeling connected to my characters. I am unable to build family trees now because, while I’m attempting to go live the life of one sibling, making them get married and have kids, I’m neglecting the other(s) and they are aging and getting beyond the point where I can marry them off and have them raise a family. So, my only solution is to either not really play anybody and just try to get everyone pregnant at once or just play one while everyone else dies off. I HATE that.

I also hate the dating life of our Sims 3 folks. I miss the matchmaker. Not once have I been able to find a spouse for one of my characters in town who was the same age. As soon as I get them set on someone and they move in, I find out they’re just about to be elderly! So, I have to either adopt kids or dump them. It SUCKS. In the Sims 2 dating was simpler because aging was simpler. And if you found out they were approaching old age, you could buy that green water cooler and prevent it. This game doesn’t have that. :(

Even while I write this, I’m wondering why I keep bothering to give Sims 3 a chance. I even bought World Adventures and am giving that a chance. But, even that one, you play it once and you don’t want to do any tombs again. :( You just want to play your families, you know? And you just want your game to be fun, which is something the Sims 3 is lacking.
