Tomb Raider 3 movie will be a reboot. A more realistic origin story with Megan Fox?

Ian Livingstone, Life President of Eidos (now Square-Enix owned), was recently interviewed and revealed a Tomb Raider 3 movie is coming!
To quote: “If you look at movies, James Bond has survived 40 years. Not all those films have been great, but the character remains strong. The next Tomb Raider [movie], I think, will surprise a lot of people and reinvigorate the franchise. There are some remarkable things we’re doing in the next Tomb Raider to make you say, ‘Oh Lara, I love you so much!’,” he added.
Producer Dan Lin, of the Terminator: Salvation film fame, had more to say about Lara Croft’s next on-screen adventure.
To quote him: “We’re rebooting Lara Croft. Really excited – it’s a great origin story that we’re going to tell. A very character-oriented I would say more realistic than the past Lara Croft movies. I would say it’s like Terminator – character-driven action. I think for me the Lara Croft games and movies have gone a little too action-oriented. I wanted to have action, but with character.”
The big rumor all of 2009 has been that actress Megan Fox will take over from Angelina Jolie, to play a younger version of Lara Croft. If you look at the picture above you’ll see Fox really does look like a younger Jolie. Emigrestudio claims this isn’t a rumor at all and that Fox will really play as Lara Croft.
Or as a Warner Bros. film studio statement reads: “Warner Bros. has confirmed plans to relaunch—and completely overhaul—the hot-pants-wearing, artifact-collecting Lara Croft: Tomb Raider franchise, with the first major casualty being Jolie. While producers say an actress likely won’t be cast until a writer and director have signed on, Fox has emerged as the frontrunner replacement.”
I can’t come up with any solid proof that Megan Fox would make for a good action hero. But she certainly has a fit enough body to portray Lara Croft as made evident by this bikini clip…
