Queen Elizabeth receives gold Wii from THQ
The Queen has found the golden Wii!
See the beautifully gold-plated Wii console above? Well be envious, because the Queen of England, Queen Elizabeth, was given said Wii as a gift from THQ. Knowing that it would be reported in the press, it is in promotion of their upcoming Wii title Big Family Games (which she also got a free copy of).
According to THQ:
“The Royal Family is arguably the most important family in the country so we felt that they had to have a copy of the new game,” said THQ product manager Danielle Robinson. “But we thought that Her Majesty the Queen wouldn’t want to play on any old console, so an extra-special gold one was commissioned. We hope that she and the rest of the Royal Family enjoy the game!”
