Grand Theft Auto: The Ballad of Gay Tony is second Xbox Live downloadable content episode. Retail disc of both episodes coming

Rockstar has announced GTA: The Ballad of Gay Tony as the second Xbox 360 GTA4 exclusive DLC episode! It will be released this Fall for $20.

The Ballad of Gay Tony will assumedly put players in the fancy shoes of Luis Lopez, a “part-time hoodlum and full-time assistant to legendary nightclub impresario Tony Prince” (known as “Gay Tony”), the titular bar mogul who made a number of appearances in Grand Theft Auto IV.

In addition to the above (of which we’ll learn more about at E3 2009 no doubt), Rockstar also announced “Grand Theft Auto: Episodes from Liberty City”. A retail disc that will only contain the two Xbox 360-exclusive GTAIV episodes (The Lost and the Damned and The Ballad of Gay Tony) and is playable whether you own the core GTAIV game or not (which it will not contain).

GTA: Episodes from Liberty City will retail for $40 and will also be hitting this Fall.

Rockstar is amazing! Now I can just pick up one disc for my 360 since I sold GTA4 last july!

I have a similar but different problem, where I don’t want my Xbox 360’s hard drive to get stuffed with all the DLC. So this is a great middle road for me.

Even if you download the lost and damned dlc and you want to make room for The ballad of gay Tony you can just delete it to make room. Your money won’t go to waste because you can always redownload from your download history screen. It’s still a hassle!!

LOL, i just wrote a message regarding the new dlc the ballad of (you know what) Tony and it got censured automatically. I know they have a purpose and the website doesn’t know I am not using to cause harm to anyone, but this is funny!!! LOL I wonder what else would get censored….thinking, thinking!!!

That’s a good tip fallinqUP, I didn’t think of that. I guess I’m thinking if I ever want to redownload it in a few years, could I still do that? I’m not sure if Rockstar supports their DLC for so long, so I’d rather have it on a disc.

PS: The only reason g ay is sensored is because fanboys kept calling everyone who disagreed with them g ays as a curseword. Other words include fuck and such. You can still write it if you want to curse, but with an asterix in the middle, so like this: This is f*cking awesome!
