Hi there! If you’re reading this, that means we’ve successfully updated Video Games Blogger with a brand new look. Welcome! For the past few months we’ve been working hard behind the scenes to setup this redesign. It took a few days to get everything working properly without slowdown, but it’s all functioning now and that’s fantastic.
The goals for this redesign were simple:
What’s in store for you the rest of the month as we celebrate the new look? Well, every day for the next two weeks — starting today! — we will hold giveaways where you can win many games courtesy of our sponsors; with Ubisoft exclusively sponsoring the launch week with a whopping 13 games! The second week will see such giveaways as an Xbox 360 console! So be sure to check back often because…
Here’s what you can expect day to day:
The winners will be announced almost daily on each giveaway page itself. Check back on this page for links to each separate giveaway. And most of all: have fun!
I speak for both Josh and I, when I say we feel very grateful to have so many awesome readers visiting this blog. We hope you enjoy your stay and get comfortable. Please comment about the new look below, we’re interested to hear what you think.
Wow! I need to read more on this! Like how it will get to us if we win. My guess: Mail.
I think for the last day we should get Nintendo Points cards. There’s no such thing as too many Nintendo Points!
This is definitely an awesome video game news blog!
Always stop by on any updates and love the new layout!
The contests you guys are having is just great
A game of our choice would be amazing!
Awesome new site guys!!!! Ba da pa pa pa I’m lovin it… as for the last prize… not to sound greedy or anything but it should be big! Like a trip to vegas with 3 night stay at the hooters hote…. I mean… luxor hotel and a gift card to gameworks!!!!
Now I am no fanboy of Sony, but a chance to win a PS3 on the 14th day would be an amazing opportunity, maybe you could invite Ubisoft over for a nice chat and warm them up to the idea of buying one for the contest along with one of their games or what not. They could even paste their logo all over the PS3 or something for that extra kick of advertising.
Now I must say I love the relaunch. I read the site everyday before the relaunch, but love the new layout much better.
Would it be possible to have the option of having all the recent posts appear on the front page? As it is, with all the E3 stuff going on, I have to go through 2-3 pages just to catch up on what I missed by not visiting for a day or two. Being able to just scroll through everything would be nifty.
@Joe: Good idea. Once we’ve caught up with the E3 news, we’ll link up every game we covered on the following page. If not this week, then next week, cause like you said there’s A LOT of it. The page that will house the overview:
