How to unlock all Punch Out Wii characters (guide)
Take the following steps in this guide for the new Wii Punch Out game to unlock the secret character(s) in a fight.
1. Donkey Kong: You can fight against Donkey Kong after you complete Title Defense Mode. I’ve described how to unlock that mode below, look for the asterix.*
You must fight Donkey Kong in Last Stand to make him available in Exhibition mode.
Beat Donkey Kong the following ways to set new records in Exhibition mode:

2. Mr. Sandman: He’s the champion of the World Circuit.
3. More bonus characters may show up out of nowhere in Last Stand. This list will be updated when/if more characters are revealed. We’ll be back for that, because it’s as Doc Louis says: “A comeback is like a yo-yo. You gonna go down, but you coming right back up. And then you may end up walking the dog.”

* Title Defense mode: This new feature will become available once you beat the original three circuits (Major, Minor, and World circuits) in the main single player game once. In this much harder mode some of the boxers have new tricks and ways to protect their weaknesses and they are all much faster and tougher. So you’ll have to figure out their new patterns and weak spots again. For example: In the rematch against King Hippo, he will wear a manhole cover protecting his weak spot, his belly.
