Full Guitar Hero Smash Hits song list revealed. See the complete 50-track set list including videos!

Activision has revealed the complete 50-track song list for Guitar Hero: Smash Hits. The set list is entirely made up of master recordings instead of cover versions as always. The game contains a compilation of songs from previous Guitar Hero games, particularly Guitar Hero 1, Guitar Hero 2, Guitar Hero 3: Legends of Rock and Guitar Hero Encore: Rocks the 80s. The popular music-rhythm game will be released for Xbox 360, PS2, PS3 and Wii in America on June 16th, 2009.

The below list is ordered by band name and followed by song title. You’ll notice they link to a video of the song itself or a music video of the song (depending on availability), each video will pop up in a new window for you to watch when you click on the link.

Man that game is going to suck they should have DISTURBED,ROB ZOMBIE,METALLICA, AND BULLET for MY VALENTINE. But I guess we all cant get what we wanted….:( curse you gh creators…..

I acctually though these songs we pretty good, getting away from MEtallica. THANK YOU GOD. they had spme pretty, nice ass songs. I want this game mostly becacuse the best songs in my opinion were from G.H. 1 & 2…. And its going to be even better with the Drumss…….!!!

i agree with esteban. they should have cliffs of dover. they chose the wrong songs from guitar hero 3. barracuda, hit me with your best shot, and rock and roll all nite. why not 3’s and 7’s, the metal, paint it black, reptilia, stricken, or when you were young. all in all good set list but not from guitar hero 3.

OMG ELECTRIC EYE! And Play With Me I would buy this game just for those alone. bark at the moon and cowboys from hell with the new hammer-on system O_O FINALLY!!! Nice touch with the psychobilly freakout now I can freakout all over again and confuse the hell out of the neighbors again.

i saw a video of the game playing Cult of Personality on drums and it was 4 butons only….Can i play this game with the drum kit of rock band?

wow, they need to come up with some new songs!!! That are actually good! Like really there are a bazillion songs from the 80’s that are freakin amazing and they choose those ones over and over. They should put NEW songs on their NEW games!
