The Beatles: Rock Band guitars revealed in pictures

The Beatles: Rock Band guitars have officially been revealed in some pictures that developer Harmonix released in celebration of the game being officially open for pre-order.

Although the game’s new custom guitars had been previously revealed, they had not yet been SEEN.

Take a gander at the two wireless Beatle’s guitars that will be released alongside the $250 premium bundle and sold separately for $100 a piece. The premium bundle will include a Hofner bass guitar, Ludwig-branded drums, and a microphone with a stand. In Europe and the UK the guitars will be priced at 99.99 euros and 89.99 pounds, respectively. The high price means that those who want both guitars will be paying $450 for the full set of Beatles branded-instruments. Which is pretty steep.

Above you can see John Lennon’s Rickenbacker 325 guitar (on top). And George Harrison’s famous Gretsch Duo Jet guitar (bottom).

The game will be released this September 2009 (9/9/09) for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and Wii.

Yeh it is expensive if you buy the whole set. But it fades in comparison to the price of what an actual Beatles guitar would cost.
