Tekken 6 intro cinematic trailer

Tekken 6 finally brings the “King of the Iron Fist Tournament” out of hibernation and onto current generation consoles: The Xbox 360 and the PlayStation 3.

We have previously revealed Tekken 6 gameplay videos that show off the game’s new graphics, as well as the list of known Tekken 6 characters.

Now you can watch the intro movie for Tekken 6 which plays out in the same style as the intro movies did for all of the previous games. You can see glimpses of some of the new characters as well, including a new fat guy. Looks like rotund fighters are officially back in style thanks to Street Fighter 4′s Rufus.

All I have to say is . . . it’s Tekken. Again. I do remember LOVING Tekken 3 though way back in the day. Groups of us would play that game for hours at a time and it was amazing. Haven’t gotten into the newest games though. Have you?

Yeah, I’ve gotten into them (sort of), but that’s only because I’m a Tekken fanatic! I started with 2 and I’ve been stuck with it since. I’d probably buy them as long as the made them, but I hope they end it soon if they don’t plan on adding many new/unique things to it. 6 has too many characters in one game with the same outfit from the previous game, so that’t kind of wierd. The game doesn’t seem as epic as 3 was…that game had a good amount of fighters and plenty of new characters. I would like another Tekken tag though! Thanks for the info!!! Can’t wait for the game!!
