Order of War WWII RTS announced by Square Enix for PC
Order of War has been announced by Wargaming.net (developer) and Square Enix (publisher), as the latest example of Japanese publishers really breaking out of the mold to try and target the West.
Order of War is a real-time strategy (RTS) game based on World War II where players will see the conflict from two vantage points: America leading the charge against German forces during the summer of 1944 in both a Western and Eastern attack on the country and as the German’s trying to repel Russia’s Red Army as they advanced on Germany from the East.
Key features of Order of War include:
* Experience WWII warfare on an epic, cinematic stage; that truly captures the intensity and scale of the battlefield
* Command of an entire armed force consisting of up to 1,000 soldiers, tanks, armored vehicles, artillery and air planes
* Players can choose between two different campaign modes offering completely different storylines, missions, objectives and environments
* Experience the unique dynamic camera that allows players to command troops over huge geographical scale whilst maintaining movie-like vistas and detail
* In-depth gameplay mode: two different campaign modes, multi-player, Deathmatch and Skirmish
