New Karaoke Revolution (Vol 4) coming to Xbox 360, PS3 and Wii

New Karaoke Revolution for Xbox 360, PS3 and Wii
Konami has announced that they are getting back into the singing game with Karaoke Revolution for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and Wii. Although in a later press release the Xbox 360 version has gone missing. The game will be released in November 2008.

And yup, that is the official title, Karaoke Revolution. No subtitles. No “volumes” (although as the headline points out, it’d technically be the 4th core entry in the long-running series) and no crazy licenses with American Idol or the Country Music channel (CMT, that is).

Here are the key features of the game:

* Over 50 Master Recordings of various songs will be included on the disc for you to sing.
* A deeper character creation mode than has been seen before.
* Customizable venues.
* Original music videos will be included for all 50 songs!
* Will include party-centric playlists.
* Improvements in pitch and rhythm detection.
* Will include a drop-in/drop-out Duet Mode (similar to Microsoft’s Lips game).
* Online play in the Xbox 360 and PS3 versions (Sorry Wii owners).
* Additional songs and downloadable items will be included as downloadable content (DLC).
* Party option for 16 users, which allows participants to compete against each other and create bespoke playlists.
* Karaoke Revolution enjoys compatibility with all available wireless and USB microphones, and the PlayStation 3 version enjoys full use of the EyeToy camera.
