Final Fantasy VII released on Japanese PlayStation Network

Square Enix has released Final Fantasy VII for the PlayStation Network!

. . . . In Japan. *tear*

The version released is known as “Final Fantasy VII International” over there and it was basically the Japanese version of the game that we saw here in the United States. Although it contained further improvements to the main game including on-screen arrows (Like in FFVIII I assume, showing you where exits and entrances are), an enhanced management system (for your Materia I’m guessing) and even an additional cut-scene that gave players a more in-depth look at Cloud’s past.

The game is entirely in Japanese (obviously) so if you don’t read Japanese you’ll have trouble following the story if you haven’t played the game before. But it is available on the PlayStation Store at a price point of Â¥1,500 (US$14.93). If you don’t know much about the game check out my Final Fantasy VII review.
