Official UFC 2009 Undisputed character list

Over 80 playable characters have been confirmed for the roster of the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) game UFC 2009 Undisputed. It will be released in North America on May 19th, 2009 and in Europe on May 22nd.

UFC 2009 is developed by Yuke’s Osaka and features the Ultimate Fighting Championship license. Six fighting styles are included in the game: Boxing, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Judo, Kickboxing, Muay Thai and Wrestling. The game features highly detailed character models made up of over 30,000 polygons. In addition to the fighters the game also features non-fighting characters such as Mike Goldberg (a broadcaster), Joe Rogan (also a broadcaster), Bruce Buffer (a fight announcer), Mario Yamasaki (an NSAC referee), Arianny Celeste (a ring girl), “Stitch” Duran (a cutman) and Juanito Ibarra (a cornerman).

this game is gonna be hot.. Especially with the UFC drawing closer to its Centenial fight card, this is gonna be a the game to play now and after the fight card is over. I do wish they should have had the Hall of fame characters like Ken Shamrock, Royce Gracie, Jeremy Horn, Dan Severn, Maurice Smith, Kevin Randleman, and Tank Abbott just to name a few.

Its funny how you ask for Kimbo… 1st off hes not that great of a fighter (sorry MMA fighter) 2nd and this goes for fedor also they both are not signed (contract) with the UFC, so why would the UFC want to promote them?

OOOOO and Royce didnt bring the UFC to a different level…. he started the thing and in all truth was just a BJJ guy…. guys like BJ Penn, GSP, even Ken and Frank Shamrock… etc brought UFC to a different level with mixing up martial arts and using both strikes and subs.
