30 Playable Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2: Fusion characters have been confirmed for the roster. The action-RPG game releases in America on September 15th, 2009. It has been announced for Wii, DS, Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 2, and PlayStation Portable. No PC version apparently.

Certain console versions will have exclusive characters, and systems that allow for DLC will receive additional characters for download! This was confirmed* by the president of developer Vicarious Vision, Guha Bala. If you want to unlock all hero characters, then during gameplay press: Up, Up, Down, Down, Left, Left, Left, Start.

The sequel to 2006′s Marvel: Ultimate Alliance, Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2: Fusion will feature both new and returning characters of both the hero and villain variety all from the Marvel Universe. A new feature that allows characters to combine with other characters, thus the “Fusion” subtitle. The game will include an updated power combo system, improved camera and controls, Havok physics technology, a new 3D sound system and improved lip syncing among other new features.

5. Deadpool — Unlockable by beating the D.C. Level. Note: He knows he’s in a videogame haha!
6. Gambit
7. Green Goblin (Villain) — Unlockable by: beating him at the end of Wakanda Act 3.
8. Hulk — Unlockable during gameplay by pressing: Down, Left, Left, Up, Right, Up, Down, Left, Start. OR by collecting all 5 Gamma Regulators.
9. Human Torch
10. Iceman
11. Invisible Woman
12. Iron Fist — Unlockable by: selecting the Rebel side when faced with the choice.
13. Iron Man
14. Jean Grey — Unlockable during gameplay by pressing: Left, Left, Right, Right, Up, Down, Up, Down, Start. OR by collecting all 5 M’Kraan Shards.
15. Juggernaut (Villain) — A GameStop, Amazon UK or EB Games AUS pre-order bonus.

* Stan Lee — Like his movie cameos. To quote him: “It’s such a kick to see characters that I’ve helped create come to life in the game and now I’m a part of the Marvel videogame universe!”

Ya… I agree.in MARVEL ULTIMATE ALLIANCE 3 many people want to buy the Dark Phoenix, The Hellfire Club, Brotherhood for PS2.
and I want to buy them.

The first game had the Ghost Rider. I want to play as him again. And the first game had Dr. Doom as the bad guy, it would be nice to fight him (or even as him) in the game. Of course, I am still praying that they release it for the PC. Until then, all I can do is drool over the web sights and posts for the game.

They have Bishop, Havok and Cable on the game but I would love to play as them. And why are Cyclops, Blade, Sentry and Psylocke exculsive to PS2 and DS?

After seeing hearing about the game on all the major game spots, I hesitated and than I finally broke down and bought the game. When I put it in my xbox 360 during the first level Spiderman was stuck in mid air. That sucked! There were a few *note* few glitches.

My sincere advice to ActiVision is it would be nice to zoom in and get a closer view of the charachters that we play and have a true ’360′ enviroment. I don’t like watching the battles from a birds eye view. You want to be in the fights not watching them. That said, this game is truly genius! If you haven’t got it get it! The story line is awesome, and if you complain about this game try it on the hardest setting and get ready to kick tail! Now because this is a civil war and secret war theme, I agree with much of what was said about.

It would be nice to play as Nova, Firestar and Justice(Marvel Boy) so that way you could have the team bonus of playing the New Warriors. It also adds more flavor.

I too would like to see more baddies, definitely Doom, Magneto, Lady Deathstrike, even Abomination, and Myphesto the hellish demon! Dr. Strange or Mister Sinister would be well.
Maybe they could do a new plot in Marvel Alliance 3 where the civil war opens up opportunities for the villians… etc

I think having Hawkeye , Wasp or any Hank Pym incarnation just makes sense when you think of the Avengers.

If you give people the Dark Phoneix, Juggernaught, Colossos, The Patriot , Cable, Bishop , and even The Punisher your going to make allot of people happy. Listen to the fans! Use the money that we are paying for this and make it better!. Other than that you guys did a genius job @ this game! It’s damn fun!

The game should have be able to zoom in and see the charachter from every angle, I want to be in the game not watching from a birds eye view. That was a bit annoying, some bugs such as spiderman in the first level being in the middle of the air. However, the story line is fantastic and the various superhuman groups is great. It’s genius what they have done with this.

That said: These are the charachters I would recommend.

Nova, Firestar and Justice(marvel boy) because to play as the New Warriors and get the bonus would be great! New Warriors have like one representative, Speedball (Penance) and he’s put with the Thunderbolts.

Hawkeye so the Avengers get’s some love.

The Patriot, Cable, Bishop, The Punisher so fan boys and fan girls will be happy.

Dr. Doom, Abomination,Magneto, Mephisto, Bullseye, Lady Death strike because we do need some more baddies.
I love what they did with Goblin very impressive,
Jean Grey needs alternative outfit and personality as the Dark Phoneix! This also will make fans very happy.

Venom , and Thing need to do a little more than clap their hands, and shoot out goo they get pwned very easily by their enemies and that can’t happen to these giants!

Any way great job to the people at Activision Please consider the above. Use the money we spend wisely and we will continue to be faithful to your products too!

I wanted the punisher in this, in the first MUA THQ got the game rights so he was left out. and now theres a punisher game for the PSN so he’s left out again. sutch a shame, the punisher is probebly one of my all time favorites when it comes to marvel heroes.

This game is identical to the old one, with a new coat of paint. Fun for about 5 minutes at a time. Don’t bother.

Honestly, it’s too less. in Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2 just there are
eight X men playable characters : Wolverine, Storm, Cyclops, Jean Grey, Gambit, Ice Man, Psylocke, and Juggernaut.

I hopefully from above all of that you can add many X men playable characters in Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3 for PS3, PS2, Wii, etc.
