Galaga Remix flies spaceship onto iPhone and iPod Touch
Namco is bringing its arcade classic Galaga to the iPhone and iPod Touch “any day now”.
The iPhone version of the game is called “Galaga Remix” and will include both a classic mode as well as a remixed mode. Naturally the classic will be just like you remember from the arcade days while the remixed mode allows you to play the game in widescreen by playing horizontally. Of course, the remix mode also includes the prerequisite new levels and power-ups.
Both versions of the game will allow you to play using the left and right buttons in the corners of the screen, by sliding a bar alongside the bottom of the screen or by tilting the system using tilt controls. While tapping the screen will fire your ship’s laser.
The game will run you $6 when it’s added to iTunes soon.
