Squeeballs brings motion-controlled minigames to Xbox 360, PS3 and Wii

A company called In2Games has created a Wii Remote-like “3-dimensional game control system” called the “Gametrak Freedom”, which mimics what the Wii Remote can do.
The system tracks your movement in 3D with no time delay and is an evolution on a previous technology that the company developed that uses ultrasonic tracking technology for tracking position of physical elements in three-dimensional space in real time. According to In2Games, their Gametrak Freedom system is the most advanced ever created.
In order to put a gameplay application where their mouth is, In2Games has also announced a mini-game collection called Squeeball, for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, that will be a sort of technology demonstration showing what their Gametrak system can do.
Squeeball is a simple set of over 100 mini-games using Gesture Controls. Which looks pretty much like any other mini-game collection that you’d find on Wii, except it has some extremely charming animated ball creature-things in place of, say, the Rabbids.
The interesting thing about the Gametrak Freedom system is that they are licensing it for use by any company that wants to use it to create Wii-like games. So it’ll be interesting to see if the GameTrack Freedom system will present a true challenge to the Wiimote throne.
