Official Punch-Out!! Wii character list

14 characters have so far been confirmed to be in Punch-Out!! for Wii, the re-birth of the infamous Punch-Out series that gained popularity on the NES and SNES. That was 22 and 15 years ago, respectively. The Wii version has a release date of May 18th in the United States and May 22nd, 2009, in Europe.

Produced by Shigeru Miyamoto, Punch-Out!! allows players to box using the Wii Remote & Nunchuck and will add old plus new characters in addition to allowing players to perform new moves with returning series protagonist Little Mac; It also features a deeper storyline than past games. It will even support the Wii Balance Board. The game is being developed by Canadian studio Next Level Games.

* Doc Lewis (Little Mac’s coach)

* Giga Mac (in multiplayer when one Little Mac gather enough power he grows)

* Little Mac (it’s assumed only Little Mac is playable)
9. Piston Hondo AKA Piston Honda
10. Sandman
11. Super Macho Man
12. Soda Popinski AKA Vodka Drunkenski
13. Von Kaiser
