Official Fight Night Round 4 character list

54 playable characters have been confirmed for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 boxing game Fight Night Round 4, although it’s said to feature 48 licensed fighters. The game will be released on June 30th, 2009.

This rebirth focuses the series on realism with insane detail and a host of legendary fighters that include Muhammad Ali and Mike Tyson.

I am glad Tyson and Lennox are in, but man they left out alot of other greats.. De la Hoya, Holyfield, Toney, Mayweather, Pavlik, Hagler, Ward, Calzaghe, and Klitschko to name a few.. some of those guys were in the last game.. no reason they shouldnt have made it over to the new one.. they should expand their roster, now add and subtract

What’s the point of all those names? That’s how many people they could put in there. Out of those names I guarantee are fighter in every weight class from different eras that would be excellent additions to any game. Some of those guys are a little less heard of because of boxing history, but all names above are top fighters at some point in time. When I could have Carmen Basillio, or Jack Dempsey, or Willie Pep, or Joe Louis to name a few, what would I want with some of those guys they picked. I want legends, and greats from all periods of time, and a lot of them. Yeah sure it is a lot of work, but any masterpiece takes time. A lot of the problem with all boxing games of the past is a lack of historical depth. There are a few older guys but there should be more. There should be more current fighters and in between as well. Mix it up a bit. Get some people in there. At least all the current champions, is that so much to ask???
