First Wolfenstein HD gameplay trailer

Raven has released the first proper trailer for Wolfenstein, their upcoming rebirth of the classic Nazi-shooting franchise. Which hasn’t been seen since 2001′s Return to Castle Wolfenstein and 2003′s Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory.

The trailer shows lots of gameplay footage and looks like it can hang with the best of the war game crowd with some cool looking weapons and crazy effects from disintegrating Nazis to graphical shifts in entire landscapes.

The game also seems heavily focused on sci-fi which will help to set it apart from the many other war games on the market. The game is scheduled for release in the fourth quarter of this year for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC.
