Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 announced for PS3
Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 has been revealed by Japanese magazine Famitsu, which reports that Sigma 2 will be an upgraded version of Ninja Gaiden 2 for Xbox 360.
Just like the original Ninja Gaiden Sigma was an upgraded version of Ninja Gaiden Black for the original Xbox (which was in turn an upgrade of the original Xbox Ninja Gaiden . . . confusing yes).
Here is some more info on Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2:
* Ayane will be the new playable ninja character.
* Will include a new playable weapon: A spiked hammer called “Genma”.
* It will feature an all-new giant boss battle.
* It will be an upgraded version of Ninja Gaiden 2 (not a direct port).
* Yosuke Hayashi from Ninja Gaiden Sigma is producing and directing.
* Team Ninja is developing.
