FEAR 2: Project Origin downloadable content coming as new maps

F.E.A.R. 2: Project Origin is set to get some downloadable content this April 2009.

The content planned will include a premium theme, a picture pack, and a free new “Toy Soldiers” map pack. The maps included were not detailed but let’s hope it’s literal!

Hopefully the new maps will help to make the multiplayer more exciting, which did not get very high marks by critics in reviews of the game. But hey, some downloadable content is better than none, eh.

Update: “The content [in the Toy Soldiers map pack] will be available free-of-charge in mid-April on Xbox LIVE Marketplace for Xbox 360 and PlayStation Network for the PlayStation 3,” said representatives from Warner Bros. and Monolith
