inFamous release date is May 26, 2009. Demo coming
The upcoming PlayStation 3-exclusive action adventure InFamous has finally gotten a release date of this summer, June 2009.
In addition developer Sucker Punch (creators of Rocket: Robot on Wheels for the N64 and the notable Sly Cooper franchise on PS2) has announced that an InFamous demo definitely will be released. Although they did not give an exact date but said details are coming soon.
In the meantime, watch this inFamous trailer to whet your appetite for the game’s eventual release this summer.
If you haven’t heard of inFamous, it’s an upcoming open-world action adventure game in which you control Cole McGrath, a hero (or anti-hero depending on the decisions you make) who has the supernatural ability to manipulate electricity. He also has natural “urban explorer” talent that allows him to climb and swing around the city with the best of them. Overall the game is one of the more promising PlayStation 3 exclusives.
