Guitar Hero On Tour: Modern Hits announced for DS

Activision has officially announced Guitar Hero On Tour: Modern Hits for the DS. The game is the sequel to Guitar Hero: On Tour and Guitar Hero On Tour: Decades.
And like those previous titles the game uses a unique “Guitar Grip” add-on that slides into the GBA slot on the DS (which means it won’t work with the upcoming Nintendo DSi system which lacks the GBA slot) and allows you to hit the colored Guitar Hero buttons on the side of the DS with your fingers as you hold it vertically. To play notes you strum the touch-screen and it also takes advantage of the dual screens.
Modern Hits will include 25 master tracks of popular modern songs for gamers to play.
A new addition in Modern Hits includes a “non-linear gameplay” mode and “Fan Request Challenges” although what exactly those entail wasn’t announced.
New songs appearing in Guitar Hero On Tour: Modern Hits include:
* Wolfmother “Dimension”
* Coldplay “Violet Hill”
* Lenny Kravitz “Where Are We Runnin’”
* Evanescence “Sweet Sacrifice”
* The Strokes “Reptilia”
* The Bravery “Unconditional”
* Fall Out Boy “This Ain’t A Scene, It’s An Arms Race”
* Weezer “Everybody Get Dangerous”
* The Kaiser Chiefs “Ruby”
* 12 Stones “Adrenaline”
* Tenacious D “The Metal”
* Atreyu “Falling Down”
Other rumored tracks include:
* Sum 41 “Still Waiting”
* Franz Ferdinand “The Fallen”
* Finger Eleven “Paralyzer”
Although the above three songs have not yet been confirmed.
