Activision Blizzard confirmed future Guitar Hero games in a conference call where Activision Publishing CEO Mike Griffith boasted of their “robust lineup” that includes three new Guitar Hero titles that will be released before the midpoint of 2009.
First up is Guitar Hero: Metallica which will be dropping on March 29th, 2009 (for Xbox 360 and PS3 with PS2 and Wii versions coming later) and May 5th, 2009 in Europe.
Following that is the announcement of an all-new Nintendo DS version of Guitar Hero following the successful releases of Guitar Hero: On Tour and Guitar Hero: On Tour: Decades.
Lastly Activision announced a Guitar Hero: Greatest Hits pack compilation game for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and Wii that will include “full-band versions of some of the most popular songs from previous Guitar Hero games.”
