I think anyone who's glued to a screen for too long will develop some, well, not entirely healthy features (a disconnection from the rest of nature, for example). Something that isn't clear here, though, is whether it's TV that depresses kids or that depressive kids are drawn to TV exactly because it *is* less active, more passive. It's commonly known that depression leads to a sense of being immobilized. But I'd rather send those kids outside than to another screen. Just sayin'.
