SingStar Queen songs list revealed

The full songlist for Singstar Queen has been revealed and will include 25 tracks in the PS3 edition’s soundtrack and 20 in the PlayStation 2 edition. The game doesn’t yet have an exact date in the U.S. but it’s scheduled for release in March in Europe.

Here is the list of Queen songs that will be in the game. The five games that are missing from the PS2 version have an asterisk next to their name.

I RECENTLY PURCHASED THE SINGSTAR QUEEN DISC FOR PS2 AND TO MY AMAZEMENT THE BELOW MENTIONED SONGS ARE NAME DON THE COVER HOWEVER, THEY DO NOT APPEAR ON THE DIS. ONCE AGAIN SONY HAS SCREWED THEIR CUSTOMERS OVER

Have Sony made a release explaining their ‘errors’ on the cover. It seems it’s not the first time they have done this. I will be telling everyone I know about this. It’s not good enough. Why would anybody respect copy laws when they are ripped off? Shouldn’t Sony be holier than thou and squeeky clean??

What’s the deal with there only being 15 songs on the PS2 version? Do you have to unlock the other 5? Please….

I opened up my copy of SingStar Queen today to find the same error that is being described by the previous 4 posters - there are only 15 songs instead of 20.

At first, I thought it could be an unlock, but no previous SingStar games have had unlockable songs.

I’ve been searching forums everywhere for advice, nothing but this site has anything.

I believe it could be a disk error as this is a relatively new game, but not being 100% sure, I contacted the Playstation Support centre.

Don’t know whether they’ll get back to me soon (not likely, huh), but songs like Bohemian Rhapsody and Bicycle Race were the reasons I bought this game…

I have the same problem but disk says 16 songs missing 4. If different than you guys then maybe disk problem although all songs on the disk work ok.

Would be interested in Sony response.

I had exactly the same problem, and spoke to Sony about it today. The tracks only seem to be missing if you load the Queen disc (using the Start button in the menu system) after another Singstar disc (as I had been doing). I tried it again today, and all 20 tracks, plus the 5 medley tracks you should also have were available. The tracks also seem to go missing if the Playstation has been on on for a while whilst playing another game. Try turning it off, leaving it for 5 minutes and try the Queen disc again - it worked for me! Pain in the b**t though!

I can confirm what Sam stated above is the case.. I loaded our Queen disc from another Singstar disc and sure enough, the ‘carousel’ was looking more than a few titles thin. I think I’ve figured out why… Bohemian Rhapsody, Bicycle Race and the others that are missing have the option to ‘be’ either Freddie or the backing vocals - obviously the other discs don’t have this functionality… I’d say the Queen disc uses a different engine because there are quite a few differences in the UI plus it has the annoying PS3 mic volume functionality where you can’t completely mute your voice and it tends to feedback at higher volumes.
