Star Wars: The Old Republic making-of-video takes you from concept to in-game action
The guys over at BioWare are giving fans a highly in-depth look at Star Wars: The Old Republic, their upcoming MMO based on the Knights of the Old Republic universe by taking viewers from writing to concept to reality with the cameras following every step of the way.
The below video focuses on the planet Typhon and starts out by taking you into the writing room where they show you how quests in the Massively Multiplayer Online Role-Playing Game are designed and hammered out. They then take you to the Concept Artists whose art is basically what you will see in the game as the development process continues to the world builders who put all the pieces together and make it look as close as possible to the artists rendition. It is the Environmental guys who put the finishing cherry on top.
Overall this is a really interesting behind-the-scenes look at what is surely going to be one of the biggest MMO launches when the game eventually sees release.
